Oh, Lord, I love you!

 

Hi guys, how are you? Wanted to give you a quick report on what has happened since Tuesday May 8.

 

May 8, 2001 - Prayer Preparation

 

We received orientation in the Westin by LAX.  There are 27 of us from different states of the U.S.  We're on the Global Prayer Strike Force (GPSF) of the Morris Cerrulo World Evangelism (MCWE).  Most of us have been with the ministry for 10+, 20+ years.  (I am the youngest and less than one year old.)  We went through the prayer manual and fellowshipped with one another and read scriptures.  Also, focused on working out the 'less than' or 'more than others' feelings or any other bad stuff to get into 'one heart' so we can be effective to do what's required of us.  We prayed for the conference and all the countries we are going to.

 

Our roommates are also buddies in the buddy system.  We are to do just about everything together for our safety in this spiritual warfare trip.  My roommate is Dolores Calderon.  When she was young she had to work to raise her siblings and had little education.  She said the Lord has taken out her anger, hatred toward her father and ex-husband, healed her from colon cancer in 1973, provided work and finance so she can now travel internationally and pray for different countries.  Her testimony greatly blessed me.

 

May 9 - Travel

 

We left at 1:20 a.m.  The Lord put two young ladies sitting beside me, Winda from Indonesia and Emily from Taiwan.  We shared our faith in Jesus.  Thirteen hours later, we arrived in Taipei.  After waiting for three hours, we transited to Manila Philippines.  This took another three hours.  We prayed as a team in the airports.

 

May 10 - Arrival

 

We went to the five-star Shangri-La hotel in heavy rain and traffic.  One hour after checking in, we headed for the Araneta Coliseum, and arrived at 5:30 p.m.  The All Asia-Pacific Spiritual Warfare Prayer Conference had already started in the afternoon.  There were about 12,000 people including Filipinos and delegates from the Middle East, Cambodia, Fuji Island, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Vietnam, and other Asian countries. 

 

Oh, boy, I was less than half awake most of the time in the evening service. 

 

May 11

 

Spent 20 minutes alone with Jesus in the morning while Dolores went to the team prayer room.  Thanked Him for allowing me to come.  Told Him my love for Him is growing stronger and I want it to grow forever more.  He anointed me with peace and the travel fatigue did not bother me anymore.

 

This is a strategic spiritual warfare conference aiming at equipping the Filipino saints to intercede and reach out to all the Asian countries.  Shortly after the World War II, God has sent MCWE to the Philippines.  With all the political and economical turmoil since then, the Lord is now bringing a spiritual revolution and establishing Filipinos as mission launching pads for other nations.  This is also the "first" one of its kind.  There will be more coming in different parts of Asia.

 

The Filipino worship teams were powerful.  We sing mostly English songs.  Lots of songs reminded me of the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida.  We also had a period of worship using a film.  The worship was Phil Drisco from Tennessee.  His trumpet and singing brought us into high intimacy with Jesus.  I cried for a whole hour and felt the Lord is preparing His lovely bride ready for Him.  Jesus is on His way to bring her to heaven accompanied with majestic music.  I thought about His bride can be not only the church, but also each individual, too. 

 

Today's speakers included Pastor Charles Blair, Singaporean Pastor Ronny Tan, brother Morris Cerrulo and others.  Our US Global Prayer Strike Force (GPSF) team is divided into seven small groups.  Each group had an assigned time slot to pray in the prayer room for both days.  GPSF team from other countries prayed fervently in the same room at the same time.  We had team from England, Canada, Saudi Arabia, etc. 

 

There's a high quality worship dance group.  The entire audience was awed by how beautifully they danced.  We all jumped and shouted to the Lord with them.

 

May 12

 

In 1989, one Filipino church reached out to Vietnam, their Operation 300 trained 20 Vietnamese nationals and reached 12 tribes.  Their goal was to build 300 house churches in Vietnam.  In 1999, 18 Vietnamese house churches came together to share the Good News and set a goal to build 10,000 house churches in five years.  They request the Philippines to help on training.  The speaker showed us exactly how we can help.  Filipino churches have also decided to 'adopt' churches in their neighboring countries.  On May 14, brother Cerrulo will bring a team of pastors and Filipino co-workers to Kaoshiung, Taiwan to hold revival services.

 

Brother Cerrulo spoke in the afternoon on how we can get a prayer breakthrough.  We must not be through with praying until we pray through.  God sees everyone of us as a full-time minister.  In the anointing service, we use oil to anoint one another.  Then, Holy Spirit mightily anointed every one of us to become effectual fervent intercessors to reach all unreached people groups and nations before Jesus soon return.  The conference ended with more singing and dancing worship.
